Over these next few years at Georgia Tech, I hope to explore both the hardware and software side of my electrical engineering. I will do this by of course, taking high level coursework once I am eligible, and joining clubs. Specifically, I will continue working with hands-on clubs such as HyTech Racing and Medical Robotics Clubs. Exploring these different areas will build a technical foundation for my academic growth, aiding me as I narrow down my niche and find where I belong in this broadly applicable field.
In Spring 2026, I hope to complete the required coursework with the pre-requisite grades to apply to the Computing & Intelligence Minor. These courses include Intro to Computing (I am taking Fall 2025), and Intro to Object Oriented Programming (I plan to take Spring 2026). Then, as a 2nd-year, I will apply for the minor. Additionally, when I am eligible as a 3rd-year, I plan to apply to Georgia Tech's 5-year BS/MS program. I will do this by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5+.
I aim to build a career in engineering where the information and skills I have learnt through the courses and extracurriculars at Georgia Tech are highly practical. I am still exploring the range of professions available in the electrical engineering field. In the meantime, my goal is to gain experience through project teams, internships, and co-ops. I will also attend Georgia Tech's career fairs to become comfortable interacting with recruiters in a fast-paced environment. I am excited to see how my interests evolve as I grow.
On a personal level, I plan to take full advantage of the resources available to me at Georgia Tech. I hope to continue building confidence in my skills, surround myself with ambitious peers, and stay open to unique opportunities.
